An update from Lisa Lambert:

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

It was wonderful to see so many families connecting at our Family Fun Night this week. What an amazing Christian community we have and how blessed we are that we can gather in person.

We look forward to gathering again at our Middle School Equipping Families night which takes place tonight, Thursday 25 March for a 7 pm start in the Event Centre. Please refer to the earlier email sent via Angela Andrews for all of the details. Middle School staff have been praying this would be a night that blesses our families.

Tomorrow (Friday 26 March) we have our Top Town at school and what a fun day of competition it will be. Highlights like this are important in the ‘middle years’. Please remind your children to get dressed in their Whanau colours. They wear Whanau colours and any PE uniform if needed, for example, a coloured T-shirt and PE shorts. Please note this is not a mufti day. The Top Town email sent earlier has all of the details.

Easter

We are preparing to focus on, unpack and celebrate Easter. This is such a special time to engage with God giving His only Son so that we can have eternal life.

The Year 7-9 Easter Assembly will take place in the Event Centre at 9:00am on Monday 29 March. Parents are welcome to attend.

Perhaps you might think of a way that your family can press pause and engage in a new Easter tradition that helps our young people reflect and give thanks for this huge life-changing sacrifice. I am sure many local churches will have an Easter focus for families as well.

Term 1 Parent-Teacher Conferences

All conferences will be online video conferences. Information about the conferences and login details for the online booking system (PTO) will be emailed home on Thursday, 1 April.

The PTO website will open for bookings at 3:30pm on Thursday, 1 April - bookings will close at 9.00am on the day of conferences.
