KingsWay School —

A note from Lisa Lambert, Head of Middle School.

Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to be totally settled back into school. While things feel very normal we are mindful of any students who are still transitioning and are supporting them through our Wellbeing Team.

Our Wellbeing Team is led by Yvonne Neville (Assistant Head of Middle School). This team comprises a range of teachers who are particularly passionate about the pastoral and deaning care of our students. The focus of the team is both to support behaviour of students and also their general wellbeing. This team is joined by other staff who have been trained in student mentoring. The Wellbeing Team is a God led strategy for Middle School staff to support and disciple our young people as they go through our school.

Recently we had our first Middle School Zoom interactive assembly which was ably led by students and included student leaders who had recorded their messages with role plays. Our Year Level assemblies will continue to be online for now also. We are excited about the learning opportunities that we have gained through Distance Learning and integrating these into our learning programmes so that we have a richer learning experience.

Please continue to pray for our teachers and KingsWay School that we would effectively disciple our young people to have a personal growing relationship with Jesus.
