Community Worship Night
We are blessed as a special character school to hold events like the Worship Night to create a space for our school and our wider community to worship God together. The night consisted of supper before the service, worship led by Equippers, an item performed by KingsWay students and a guest speaker discussing the theme of salvation.
As the body of Christ, we are called to live in community with each other, and the Worship Night is a wonderful event on the school calendar that enables this and reflects the vision and purpose of KingsWay School.
One thing that is fantastic to see is different groups of people collaborating to produce an event that points towards Jesus. Our purpose as a Christian community of learning, nurturing young people towards their full potential as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God, is evident in the way that KingsWay students willingly served at the Worship Night. Students helped with organisation, set up, car parking, baking and praying for their peers. The Worship Night is a fantastic event within the year; we are looking forward to seeing it grow and continue using this evening to share the love of Jesus.

Partnership with Equippers Worship
Over the past two years, KingsWay School has collaborated with Equippers Worship, with the music group coming in to serve at our community events. The team has been incredible, with worship leaders, musicians and production specialists collaborating with our student leaders, teachers, and Senior School Arts Council. The partnership has been very special. Events like the Community Worship Night have created space for our wider community to come together to worship and fellowship, which has been so important after the past few years. We are incredibly grateful for Equippers and their heart to work with our school, and we are excited for what the future holds and for this event to grow.

Arts Council Contribution and Theme
We decided to focus the Worship Evening around the theme of salvation. I am passionate about the theme of salvation, as it is at the start of every Christian's walk. The goal of the Arts Council this year is to ensure an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in the lives of those who attended. Therefore, when we started planning the Worship Night, we felt prompted to have salvation as the theme of the evening.
