A message from Graeme Budler, Executive Principal.

Dear Parents,

Thank you for taking the time to attend the Full School Parent Meeting last night. I hope that it was useful. Apologies that the Getting Stuck-In link did not work. It has been rectified and can be accessed using the following link: CLICK HERE

It seems the little skit that Sue Collett performed (along with chosen parent volunteers) didn’t work in the way she intended. We apologise for this. Sue would like to clarify her intentions in the message below:

“Thank you to the many kind people who had empathetic words for me after the parent meeting and the multitude of encouraging messages coming through...just to clarify...I wrote the script...thank you to the courageous actors who played a part in introducing a new look for the PTA in 2019 where we will focus on community events only and not have any fundraising activities. Our actors were the parent voice that we frequently hear... "we are time poor and fundraising adds extra pressure to our already busy lives." 
To be sure we still have the funds required, we will have a massive fundraising drive, but continue to offer events that build a sense of belonging in our community. This is merely a trial and if we don't get the funds, we'll return to fundraising or maybe a mix of both in 2020. Arohanui.
