Marian Bailie —

Week 1, Term 3

Hello Parents and Whānau

It’s so wonderful to be back with our students. They are refreshed, settled and a delight to have back in the class. We have an exciting and full term ahead and we are looking forward to all the many varied learning opportunities we have coming up.

This term we welcome Mrs Fiona Lysaght into the Leatherback Turtles class. She takes over from Mrs Sims as she is now on maternity leave. Mrs Lysaght has a wealth of experience and we are thrilled she has joined our team.

At the end of last term we finished off with an art focus based on the French painter Paul Cezanne and his still life apples. We designed our own fruit bowls and they look fantastic!

Feel free to pop in, raise your eyes and view them hanging in our Ōwhanga.
