TUTOR: Stanley Bolton – ARCM (Hons Performance - London)

I have been a professional musician and violin teacher in Auckland for many years with a background of orchestral, chamber music and solo performances.

My studies commenced at Auckland University and were furthered with Sandor Vegh in Germany on a QEII Arts Council scholarship.

After a full time position in the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Alberta, Canada, I played part time for the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and have since led the Sinfonietta Orchestra (now Auckland Chamber Orchestra) while also playing chamber music in smaller groups.

I have taught violin privately for much of my life and at primary and secondary schools while in England.

My focus is now on the home teaching studio in Stanmore Bay and tutoring in schools.
