Below is the letter of welcome from Graeme Büdler along with the key events that are taking place in the next couple of weeks.

I would like to warmly welcome you to KingsWay School community and trust that your time with us will be a rich blessing to your family. I am well aware from past experience how difficult it can be to assimilate into a new school environment and how intimidating all the new jargon and systems can appear, so the management have scheduled three whole school events to assist you with your induction into the KingsWay community. Please note that while we love your children, the Parent Meetings (1 & 2) are Parent Only Events, but of course the Family Fun Night is for everyone.

1. New Parents PTA Welcome | 2 March, 6.00-7.00pm (Conference Room upstairs in the Event Centre)

This evening is an informal gathering where you can meet other new parents, the Board of Trustees and the Senior Management Team over a cup of tea/coffee and desserts provided by the PTA.

2. Whole School Parent Meeting: Meet the Teacher | 2 March, 7.00-9.00pm (Event Centre)

This evening is a requirement for all parents to attend and provides you with the opportunity to meet multiple teachers as there are three repeated sessions. It is highly recommended that both parents attend this evening (if at all possible) if you have more than one child in different areas of the school. No RSVP required.

3. Family Fun Night | 10 March, 5.00-8.30pm (Senior Campus Field)

This is an informal, relaxed and fun evening for the whole family which is jointly organised by the PTA and Sports Council and involves eating copious amounts of free sausages and playing games on the Senior Campus field. No RSVP required. CLICK HERE for further details.
