Message from Vanessa Gatman - Deputy Principal Middle Years
Kia Ora Parents, Caregivers and Whānau,
This week we had Open Day and it was encouraging to see and hear the strong interest in our school. After our Executive Principal, Graeme Budler, shared, the feedback from the community who attended was that we have something special here. That is a Christ-centred education where we nurture our young people towards their full potential as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God. As a mum of three young adults who attended KingsWay School, I can testify to the impact of their education on who they are and how they are making their way in the world. They have hearts to influence, a strong desire to reach out to those in need and a motivation to serve in their chosen career paths to the best of their ability. I am grateful for our school.
Thank you for making time to connect with your child’s teachers last night. I trust it was a time of encouragement and insight to your child's learning.
Please make sure you get your tickets for the Lion King JR production. It will be an extravaganza of colour, talent and creativity. We open next Friday night and the cast are working very hard to prepare. It's going to be awesome!

Jesus Christ told us that we would have tough times, but He also reminded us that He would always be with us. If He’s always with us, then He will help us. Be strong in Him and seek peace by keeping your mind on Him. We must stop dwelling on the bad. Resilient Christians look past their troubles and put their mind on Christ.
