Message from Mr Daniel Bennett - Head of Senior School

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We continue to encourage you to inspire students about World Vision and hope that we can continue the trend of being one of the highest fundraising schools in the country.

As we move towards the end of this Term, I would like to highlight that our Options Evening and subject selection process for 2024 will begin in Week 1 of Term 3.   Relatedly, it would be an opportune time to talk to students about where their strength’s are this year, what they see as their passion moving forward and possible career options they might like to pursue. A conversation about these areas will help narrow down their preferred options for 2024. Further details to come.

Next Term we are excited to be able to offer a parenting course from Revive Family, an organisation run by a parent in our community.  An overview of the program can be found in the attachment at the bottom of this Newsletter. If you are interested in attending these sessions to help further equip you as parents, please complete THIS form.

This week music students had the opportunity to see and hear an orchestra live in the Auckland Town Hall, which they truly enjoyed. Students were treated to a variety of pieces from Ravel's 'Bolero' to Bernstein's 'Westside Story' and finished with a powerful choral and haka piece.
