Eden Laing has won a place at the prestigious California Summer State School of the Arts to do a four week program held in CalARTs - the California Institute of the Arts - a school founded by Walt Disney dedicated to encouraging high school students in their craft. There are multiple programs available to apply for such as Dance, Theatre, Music, Film, Visual Arts and Animation.

As a part of the Waitemata District Health Board’s school based immunisation programme, all students in Year 7 will be offered the BOOSTRIX immunisation (booster vaccinations for Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough.
