Congratulations Mi Rae Han - YES Student Ambassador for the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame

The NZ Business Hall of Fame is one of the penultimate business awards. It’s a black-tie dinner with 400 – 500 of the most influential business people in New Zealand. Mi Rae Han will represent all 4,000 YES students and she will be the closing speaker at the dinner. This is a huge achievement, well done Mi Rae!

Service Day 8

Middle School Service Day at Wenderholm

At the end of last term, KingsWay Middle School students from Year 7-9 took part in a Service Day at Wenderholm where they planted over 700 trees. The terrain was muddy and steep in places. The work done by students saved the rangers many days of work. KingsWay have been doing this event for some years now.

Jannick Henry and Mi Rae Han took part in AUT’s “Shadow a Leader” day on July 4th. Jannick went to MediaWorks and Mi Rae went to Stuff. They were paired with an AUT student and followed the typical day of the CEO or Senior Manager. They both had a really good time and were grateful for the opportunity.

Celina Dong - centre

Congratulations Celina Dong (Year 7)

Celina Dong recently competed in the NZ Robot Olympiad, Intermediate Division (Year 7-9), where she built and programmed a robot within 3 hours without help from others. Celina has now been selected as a member of Team NZ to attend the International Robot Olympiad 2019, to be held in Thailand this December. This is a huge achievement, well done Celina!
