Christ-centred Education

Dear KingsWay Community,

I am overjoyed that KingsWay remains open for instruction and, despite Covid challenges, continues to offer an excellent, Christ-centred education for all students.

KingsWay's leadership continues the journey of improvement and excellence. We outline our strategic intents in three key school documents: the 2030 KingsWay Strategic Growth and Development Plan (2030 KSG&DP), the 2022 Charter and the 2022 Annual Plan. It has been five years since the development of the 2030 KSGDP, and I intend to refresh this document in consultation with all stakeholders this year. In addition, at the end of each year, the School produces an Annual Report that outlines progress towards meeting the Annual Plan and Charter's goals.

The documents mentioned above can be found on our school website under 'Key Documents' - CLICK HERE.

An essential advantage of having a long-term view of growth and development is that the Board and management can plan, research and resource identified areas before implementation. The Proprietor can also schedule and budget the associated resourcing and building programmes. I am sure that you have caught up with a few of our significant resourcing changes in the past few years. However, equally as necessary are the improvements and strategic changes made to other domains of education, such as leadership and curriculum, which we prioritise in the Annual Plan.

The Executive Leadership Team updates the Board termly on progress towards achieving the annual plan. This year, I hope to update the community more regularly on meeting the strategic plan's goals in the term KingsWay Connect magazine. Furthermore, we invite community representation to assist and consult with staff and student working groups in developing different programmes. I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone who responded to the Getting Stuck In questionnaire. It is never too late if you have not done so already. Your generosity and willingness humble me as we co-labour in nurturing young people as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God.

God bless,

Graeme Büdler
Executive Principal
