Junior Secondary - 25 March 2022

Our students have done very well this term with many navigating onsite and distance learning. Yesterday our deans, Thornton McDade and Ruth Stevenson addressed our students to address key messages for student wellbeing and school culture. It is important to us to encourage and challenge our students to keep going, step up and celebrate their ‘wins.’ The wins look different for every student and our Junior Secondary teachers see these happening personally, socially, academically, and spiritually. The students often default to seeing the shortfalls in themselves. It provides many opportunities for us to remind every student of the gold that God has deposited in them. What a privilege it is to do this.

We are excited to have our Junior Secondary crewneck sweatshirt ready for purchase. You will have received an email earlier this week with the order and payment details. We will ensure that you receive a reminder next week.

The students were involved in the decision-making process. It is an optional piece of uniform, but the students decided they would like to have something available to differentiate them from any other year group at school. The JS sweatshirts will only be worn in Year 10 and will not be sold through the Uniform Shop. If you would like to purchase a sweatshirt, please indicate this by filling in this order form making payment by the 31st March. Price is $35. Sweatshirts will be available for pick up from their form classes on the first day of Term 2. Attached are pictures of the sweatshirt and a sizing chart.

Please note sizes are generous and both students pictured are wearing medium.

Payment Options:

  • KingsWay Middle Years Account: 12-3084-0192348-54

Reference: Student’s name (SURNAME Firstname), Student’s ID Number, SWEAT

  • Eftpos at main reception.

We are only able to order sweatshirts we receive payment for by 31 March, 2022.

Thank you for your ongoing support, communication, and feedback.
