Business Award Winner - Ross Summerton
Congratulations to Ross Summerton (2020 Alumni) who is the winner of the $5000 Jocelyn Gilling Scholarship for the 2020 Academic year (based on internal and external results).
The Jocelyn Gilling Scholarship is awarded to the top academic student in the Business Faculty (Economics / Accounting / Business Studies) who is studying for a Business degree at University. This year Ross has just started his BCom / LLB at Auckland University.
Earlier this term, Ross came to a Senior School assembly to accept his award. He told the current students that he missed KingsWay and especially the Biblical Studies class. While he didn’t always appreciate his Biblical Studies classes at the time, he's realised that being in an environment where it is a lot harder to have these discussions has made him appreciate them much more now.
We wish Ross all the very best with his future studies.
