Paws for Reading (Free) at the Library
Paws for Reading is a new programme featuring friendly Pet Therapy Dogs that creates a calming atmosphere for children to enhance their reading skills by sharing stories with supportive, non-judgmental canine companions. This setting reduces stress and self-consciousness compared to reading in front of peers or adults. Sessions are held weekly on Monday afternoons, with options to register for single or multiple sessions.
