Swimming Lessons at Kings Swim School

Craig Allchurch —

In Term 2 swimming lessons are taking place for our tamariki from Kings Swim School. These lessons are optional and will run over 10 sessions

Kings Swim School have a fantastic reputation and have taught thousands of children to swim. Their pool is indoors and heated, which certainly makes it more pleasant when learning. During our swimming sports we noticed a lack of proficiency in the water with our tamariki and we believe swimming lessons will be very beneficial.

The lessons will take place from the 28th of May, through to the 10th of June. Each day there will be a bus that picks the students up from school and drops them at Kings Pool in Sockburn at different times. Children who are taking part are required to participate in all 10 lessons as it is a programme that builds and develops from lesson to lesson.

The cost of the programme is $51.75 per child and includes ten 25 minute lessons. There will be extra costs for the bus ,which the school will subsidise.

This week you will see a parents assessment form come home which needs to be filled out and returned to your child's classroom teacher.  Kings Swim School need to know the abilities of the children prior to the programme starting. These forms need to be back to school no later than the 14th of May. If this form does not get to you, feel free to print off the attached form.

Payment will be completed via you school account and will be charged prior to the first lesson. We will confirm the transport charges closer to the time.

Please note this programme is optional so if choose not to opt in, your child will remain at school as per normal. This programme is heavily discounted as it is a school based programme, so it's well worth it!

Many thanks
