A 50-strong team headed to Nga Puna Wai on Wednesday to compete in the SWZ Zone Athletics

Our five Cs were on display as students showed great courage throughout the day. All athletes achieved just by making it to the event, but special mention to these students that have run, jumped or thrown their way into the Primary Sports Canterbury event in week 7:

• Brea T - 1st Yr 6 Girls 80m & 2nd Yr 6 Girls Long Jump

• Cohan McG - 2nd Yr 7 Boys 100m, 2nd Yr 7 Boys Long Jump

• Frankie T - 2nd Yr 6 Boys Shot Put

• Dua Z - 3rd Yr 5 Girls Shot Put

• Zak D - 3rd Yr 6 Boys 800m
