Mackenzie, you have had a wonderful start at school. You listen carefully and you are very aware of what you are learning to do. You remember your learning goals and practice these without being asked. You are making great connections with your learning. Keep it up!


Fearne Taylor

Caring

Fearne, you are very caring of others in Purekireki. If someone is hurt or sad you will always find a teacher (kaiako) to help, or look after them yourself. You are also an amazing helper during mat time. You love handing out books, getting the pencils and then tidying up afterwards. We love your caring nature Fearne. Ka pai!

Conall, you have proven yourself to be very courageous this term on a number of occasions. We were all very impressed with your explanation of ripper rugby, your willingness to share ideas during learning times and your amazing performance at the talent show. Ka pai e hoa!

Ethan, you have shown a lot of courage starting at Knights Stream School. Over the last term you have been making a lot of new friends and you are starting to show many of the 5 C's. It is also great to see your confidence growing. We are very lucky to have you as part of our kura. Nau mai Ethan!

Grace, you have been so caring of all tamariki in Hawai! You are always there to support your friends and you want to make sure everyone is feeling happy - especially if you notice on our emotions wall their face isn’t on happy. You are a great friend Grace and we can all see how caring you are being!
