We had the pleasure of celebrating Korean culture at Knights Stream School during week 6. Some of our fabulous Korean whānau came along and taught our tamariki traditional Korean games and shared some traditional food. A huge thank you to Raina, Sim, DJ and Claire for showing our value of courage by teaching our tamariki.
The students have been talking about this positive experience and have been very engaged with all the activities. A lot of our staff have also learnt a lot about the culture!
We are lucky enough to have parents back on site. So please let Whaea Tania or Whaea Elshké know if you would like to be part of sharing your culture with others.
We can’t wait for the next cultural experience!
