Holiday Time!
Happy holidays from the team at KSS!
Kia ora e te whānau,
We wrap up the 9th term here at KSS and like all terms, this has been fantastic! This term has been packed with rich learning opportunities; trips, dancing, swimming sports, cultural hui, colour run, Goal Setting Interviews, Easter egg hunts... oh and some reading, writing and mathematics too!
Go the FoS!
Thanks to the FoS for their efforts this term. We are very lucky to have such a passionate and keen group that loves helping is have fun, raise funds and build a supportive community.
Go the Parents!
Thanks to those that came along to the Cultural Connections Hui last night. We are thrilled with the level of engagement that our whānau put into KSS. As usual, all our major events were well attended... in fact, we could not all fit in the Wharehui for the dance performance! I loved how so many parents dressed up and supported the colour run. I guess we are all big kids too!
Go the Teachers!
Our team are a passionate group of professionals who go beyond for our tamariki. They strive to connect with families and form strong relationships that allow the children to flourish. They too deserve a break.
Go the kids!
Out tamariki are courageous learners who are striving to do their best day after day. They are living our 5C's each day and are excited by the opportunities school offers them. We love their curious minds and creative ideas - there is never a dull moment in the learning spaces.
We hope you have a safe and restful break and we will see you back here on Monday 3 May to do it all again!
