Dances for Schools Programme

Mike Molloy —

We are very excited to announce that this year the children will be taking part in a Dances for Schools programme. The programme involves the children engaging in 30 - 40 minute dance lessons run by a professional tutor, Dean Langham from Dance Curriculum. These lessons will be held every day from the 22nd to the 26th of March, working towards a showcase performance, that whānau are invited to on Friday the 26th of March (more details to follow).

The cost of Dances for Schools has been partially funded through our Arts budget alongside a very generous donation from our own Friends of School. We will require an additional contribution of $14 per child which will be added to your school account. This will include ongoing zoom sessions and lesson plans so that Knights Stream can continue to provide dance learning within our curriculum.

We look forward to showcasing our dance skills with you!
