From the Tumuakis Table - Term 4, Week 4

Mike Molloy —

Congratulations to Tumuaki Kora, Toby and Cohen for being such amazing leaders last week. They managed to inspire the children into a cupcake frenzy raising over $1400 dollars. Well done Madison for such a great initiative to raise money for the SPCA.

The three Principals at last Friday's assembly said:

"It has been our pleasure to be your principals today.

We have seen CARING - many people donated delicious cupcakes.

We have CONNECTED with the SPCA by raising money to help them help animals in need.

CREATIVITY was noticed on the spectacular cupcakes.

We know it took a lot of COURAGE for some people to come to school in their pyjamas today!

And we bet you are all CURIOUS to know how much money we have raised to donate to the SPCA!

We have raised a whopping $1390 already and there are still more cupcakes to be sold after school.

Please give yourselves a huge round of applause for that wonderful effort. We would like to present a certificate to Eva to take to the SPCA to demonstrate how much we raised."

Our new Strategic Plan for 2021-2023 is now on a poster for you to see (attached). This sets the direction the school is heading on one page. Please take the time to read this as it was constructed from all of the feedback given earlier this year.

Next week the school is closed on Thursday and Friday for staff professional development and Show Day. We hope you enjoy the long weekend and get the opportunity to spend time supporting kiwi businesses!

On Friday 20 November we have an open afternoon before the Celebration Assembly. Parents and Whānau are welcome to visit classes from 1.15pm.
