Our tamariki are performing very well in core curriculum areas. The whole school data is very promising considering all the interruptions we've experienced.

Each cycle of reporting, we as a school look at the data from our tamariki in the 3 core curriculum areas. We are very aware that results in reading, writing, and maths do not define the children, as we have a large emphasis on our 5 C's and Key Competencies from the NZ Curriculum. 

We are however thrilled with the results over the past year considering the number of times children have been away from school with lockdowns. 

Reading 

End of 2020- 82% of children working within or working beyond expectations 

End of 2021- 87% of children working within or working beyond expectations

Writing

End of 2020- 90% of children working within or working beyond expectations

End of 2021- 86% of children working within or working beyond expectations

Maths

End of 2020- 92% of children working within or working beyond expectations

End of 2021- 96% of children working within or working beyond expectations
