From the Tumuaki's Table - Term 2, Week 7

Mike Molloy —

Parents are coming back!

It has been so heartwarming to have parents and whānau back being involved in the learning programmes. Even though this is not at our 'normal' capacity it is still exciting!

Parents are back helping with sports events, school trips, garden-to-table programmes and Korean culture week to name a few recent activities. Pre-COVID we had a huge amount of opportunities for parents to be involved regularly each term. I thank all parents and whānau that have been lucky enough to be back helping us.

Soon Board elections will take place. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved at the strategic level of the school. There are a number of information sessions available for you to find out more. Soon, The Friends of School will be back in action by firing up their creative brains too - this is a fantastic opportunity to help raise funds and fun for the school.

You often hear that "your children are only young once" so make sure you take the opportunity to be involved while they still want you to be!

See you at the gate!
