Farewell to Staff

Mike Molloy —

Sadly at the end of the school year we will be farewelling two of our foundational teachers, Whaea Jules and Matua George.

Jules and her husband have bought a business  which will allow her to spend more quality time with her whānau. This is an exciting step after many years in education for Jules. We thank Jules for all her hard work in helping establish the school this year. Jules has been a fantastic help with establishing the junior learning programmes. She has such a friendly way of nurturing and settling many of the new students into our school. As a foundation teacher these qualities will live on.

George is exploring another profession and will be studying towards a masters degree in commerce and will then seek a position in the field of business and accounting. We thank George for all his enthusiasm and passion as a foundation teacher. He has demonstrated our school values and made a large contribution to the successful programmes in the senior school. We also thank him for his fantastic leadership with the School Sports and Physical Education.

Plans are already underway to find suitable replacements for the beginning of term one, 2020. We will be looking for two dynamic and energetic teachers to join our school whānau.  We will keep you up to date with these changes when they occur.

Ngā mihi

Mike
