Student librarians are looking forward to book week!

This will be a week celebrating all things to do with books. Teachers will be sharing some of their favourite books with the students.

On Thursday, the 29th of August, we will be having an open afternoon. Parents and relatives are invited to come along from 2pm.  Head over to your child’s whanau room and read with them. If you have more than one child, collect them all and choose a space to read. Our Whare Pukapuka (library) will be open at this time for sharing books as well.

On Friday, the 30th of August, there is a dress up day. Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character. So get your creative thinking hats on!

We can’t wait to share our love of reading with everyone!
