From the Acting Tumuaki's Table - Term 3, Week 1

Anna Ashby —

The weather has been wet and wintery but our teachers and tamariki have come back to school with a spring in their steps and smiles on their faces.

The holidays brought a big change to our school site with the construction fences for our Stage Two build going up. Whaea Kelly's class made the most of the break in the weather today to be curious about what is going on behind the fence!

Matua Nathan has started in Mataī with our Year 7/8 learners and Whaea Jeaneen is working with our newest learners in Pūrekireki.

Online reports will be going live on Hero this Friday afternoon. We hope you have made an appointment to discuss your child's learning at the Whānau Hui next week.

Next Tuesday and Thursday school will finish at 2.30pm. We appreciate whānau collecting their children earlier these days so teachers can be available for the interviews. Any children not collected then will be taken to the whare pukapuka (library) and can be collected from there at 2.50pm.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed the sun will do some shining in the weekend.

Mā te wā,

Whaea Anna
