October School Holiday Programme - Enrollments Open. It's the perfect time to get the kids back outside and socialising! This programme can go ahead at alert level 2. If we can not run this programme due to covid alert levels full refunds will be given.

What is it?!This programme focuses on building children's confidence, resilience & communication skills. Kids will feel the power of their communication skills, the important role they play in groups & feel empowered by what they CAN do! A chance to try new things, make new connections and gain a real confidence boost lasting well past the end of the session. Kids will engage in fun (but safe) adventure based learning activities as we utilise the epic and exciting opportunities available at Omaka Camp. We are stoked to be able to run this programme at our typical 'at cost' price of $28 per hour.

Who is it for?
Morning session for 7-10 year olds
Afternoon session for 11+ year olds
This is for kids who love the outdoors BUT equally it is for the kids who feel anxious going on school camp, feel uncertain giving new things a go, it's for the kids who feel like they don't enjoy being outside or those who find it hard to engage in leisure activities past their devices. It's a place to build social skills, teamwork & leadership skills. Let's boost that precious confidence together. It is a programme perfect for returning Talk Together students or those who want to check out what Talk Together has to offer. This is a half day session.

Did your child attend the last confident adventurers programme? Awesome! Join us again, this is a fresh programme of fun and like all Talk Together groups tailored to the specific children attending.

Facilitators
Run by our very own Outdoor Educator (Jacqui- who usually brings all of her epic skills 'inside' so to speak at Talk Together) & Talk Together Speech Language Therapists (Megan, Ellen & Kyra) taking their skills outside (where we like to be on the weekends anyway). Location
Omaka Camp is conveniently located just past the airport in Harewood, providing out-of-town-like outdoor facilities but only 20 mins drive from each of the main locations we run our term time social skills groups- Rolleston, Cashmere & Rangiora.

Talk Together Membership
Now is a great time to sign up for this if you are interested so it can be used for the school holiday and/or term 4 programmes. Please refer to our previous email about the membership, reply to this email or give us a call for more information. Remember 1 membership can be shared between two children in the same family. Memberships are $38.50 per week and include upto 8 Talk Together programmes, 1.1 sessions, workshops & more!
