Absences

It is a legal requirement that children attend school regularly and on time. We expect all children to be onsite and ready for the day at 8.45am.

If a child is absent please notify the school before 8.50am via: the HERO app or Phone 928 1050 or email: office@knightsstream.school.nz.

If a child is sick or has any contagious illness they mustn't attend school. Please follow medical advice of your medical professional to ensure children are past any incubation period.

If a child has an appointment during school hours please sign out from the office and sign back in on return. You can notify the teacher with an email or note.

If your child will be absent for 3 days or more for any reason, please notify the office in writing at office@knightsstream.school.nz. Please include the dates and the reason for their absence.
