Education Outside the Classroom

Practical experiences in the outdoors are vital for children. As teachers, we value the opportunity to help children meet and overcome new challenges which in turn help them to develop confidence and self-esteem. Therefore, as part of the school curriculum, we include outdoor activities for all students relating to areas that are being explored or are of interest. Our school has an EOTC policy and Risk Management Guidelines are followed by all staff when planning trips. All EOTC activities will be clearly communicated with you as early as possible. From time to time we will require your assistance in terms of supervision and possibly transport.
