Once again, this year's Toi Turi Performance was a great success!

This year's Toi Turi Youth Theatre project, the Ministry of Education (MoE) Creatives in Schools Project, was another great success!

This is our students' third year in the Toi Turi Youth Theatre project. Some students have participated for all three years and others tried it out for the first time this year. They all worked hard to learn theatre skills, include aspects of their own Deaf culture, create their own dramatic storyline and all in all produce a very successful performance for the public.

Our staff and students, whānau, members of the Deaf community, and the general public came together to watch the performance and share tears of laughter!

The students' leadership skills and sense of belonging grew significantly throughout this experience. Through this project, they created awareness, and their already good relationship with Tim Bray Theatre Company grew even more.
