Phaegan, a Year 3 student from Bluestone School in Timaru, came first in the cross country race for his age group. Phaegan was pleased with this result. He also encouraged others to keep running, showing good sportsmanship. Phaegan's class had been practising during the term, so he was ready on the day. Mum was there to cheer him on.
