Our South Canterbury students had a fun Keep in Touch (KIT) Day all about flight, based at the airport in Timaru.

Students enjoyed looking around the Aviation Museum and Control Tower, where they discovered how much planes and airports have changed over time! They were lucky enough to get close to an aircraft parked on the tarmac apron and watched as a flight came into land from Wellington! An extra surprise was when a private helicopter landed to refuel.
