A young student in Ashburton shows his athletic ability at local school athletics day.

Benji Sheehan participated in his school’s athletics sports day in Term 4. His school, Lagmhor in Ashburton, were lucky to continue with their plans to hold their Athletics day due to level 2 restrictions. Other schools weren’t so lucky.

Benji enjoyed all the sports and demonstrated his expertise in 4 events. He placed 2nd in the long jump, 2nd in the high jump, 2nd in discus and 3rd in sprints for his age group.
