KIT day at Pukemokimoki Marae
In April, this year we visited Pukemokimoki Marae. We learnt about the Marae, each other and how to communicate with our Deaf and hard of hearing friends. We had a go at weaving, playing with rakau sticks, and making Manu iti. We played games and enjoyed our lunchtime together. We also learnt about Ko Taku Reo and some deaf history.
Korowai
We made feathers that represented ourselves and put these all together to make a korowai
