This year Liberty has been working in the Arion Farm Park at Mcleans Island near Christchurch with ponies, llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese!

She has worked extremely hard on her theory work and has really enjoyed the practical side of working with all the different animals - learning how to lead them out, clean their pens and cages, feeding and caring for them. It was a particular highlight during springtime to have lots of new baby animals to cuddle, bottle feed, and care for.

Liberty has shown great skill and enthusiasm working in groups with her classmates, rotating each week to care for the large animals, small animals and birds. This work happens in all weather, rain or shine. At the end of the day she leads the animals safely back into their clean homes for the night.
