A Typical Day in Term 2

Alexandra Usudan —

A snapshot of school life.

A day in the life: at Ormiston Senior College

I arrived at school in the morning at 8:20 am. I walked to deaf provision. I go to there every day. I went to the staff room near the deaf provision to charge my laptop. I went to sit to have a chilling time until the class started and I had a good time chatting with my friends. The class started and I went to my first-period lesson. It was okay and I learning something new. I really enjoy learning new things at this school. My first-period class was over and I ate my sandwich during morning tea. I enjoy the chilling vibes at deaf provision.I attend English, Math, Algebra, NZSL, and Photography classes.

My second-period class is Math, the third is Algebra and it is sorta hard for me. My third-period class was over now it’s lunchtime.

I microwaved some mi goreng noodles with spicy sauce and it made my mouth water because I was pretty hungry. So, I ate the mi goreng noodles while I was watching some videos on my phone. Lunchtime was over so I went to my fourth-period class at NZSL. It was okay and I practiced recording videos. This class was over and then, I went to my last period class, Photography. It was pretty good and fun because I enjoyed taking pictures and editing them to make them look good. After my last-period class, I went to the deaf provision staff room to put my laptop away.

I went out to my taxi for home time. In the morning and after school, I take a taxi home. It is pretty quiet because my house is far away from this school. I was very exhausted because it was a really busy day at school all day.
