The Wellington NZSL KIT Day was a resounding success!

The children visited several shops: a Lolly shop, a Toy shop, an Airport, a Music shop, and a Fix-it shop.

Children had to learn and use signs for each shop and do tasks.  Some activities involved teamwork, cutting and pasting, following sign instructions and taking turns.

Everyone participated so beautifully, and some big kids stepped up and took leadership roles. Some lovely friendships have developed at our KIT Days, the children also loved having some free time to play and have fun together.

We can't wait for our Matariki KIT Day to share the success of the event!
