On Tuesday 27 October, we had the first session of the new Bilingual NZSL/English Playgroup in Wellington. The group met every Tuesday morning in term 4, from 9/9:30 to 11:30 at the Tawa-Linden Playcentre in Ranui Terrace, in Tawa. 

First Signs, Advisors on Deaf Children and Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education Centre staff are all involved in the playgroup.

We’d like to thank the Tawa-Linden Playcentre for the use of their facilities, and we’re very excited to continue our relationship with the Playcentre in the future.
