What has been happening in the Waikato Outreach Team?

The Waikato Outreach team is based in Hamilton but we travel far and wide to visit our wonderful ākonga. From Taumarunui to Te Kauwhata! From Raglan to Tokoroa! We will always travel to see the happy smiles of our students.

This year we have been lucky enough to have enjoyed two successful KIT days - read about them in our other articles. What should we do next year? Let your RTD know some ideas that you might have. It is so fun to get to connect with our friends.

We have welcomed several new RTDs to the Waikato team this year: Te Aroha Carnachan, Anne Rodden, Nikki Whitehead, and Kathryn Metcalfe (who we stole from Auckland!) We also welcomed Eileen Raynel-Haine back to the RTD team.

There has been some fabulous teaching and learning happening as seen in the photos. We are looking forward to more exciting times in 2022!
