KIT Day – Maritime Museum

We were able to participate in the KIT Day. Our class enjoyed meeting students from Mainstream Schools across Auckland. Our sailing ship, the Ted Ashby, took us for a beautiful trip around the harbour.

Sculpture: flour/salt/water dough.

We came back to school after Lockdown in Term 1 and made salt dough faces. We explored techniques to help us manipulate the dough using line and texture. We were pleased with the results. It was a calming and relaxing creative activity.
