Sign Singing in the Christchurch Town Hall
A group of brave Outreach and Provision students signed their way to success at this year's Christchurch School's Music Festival in Term 4.
This iconic festival is a highlight of the musical year for primary schools in Canterbury and is still going strong after more than 80 years! Its current format involves four performances, each of which presents a different massed choir of 800 voices in concert with special representative groups that include smaller choirs, a concert band, and orchestra.
Our students practised daily to perfect their performance and were on stage for each of the four performances, like the highly sought after specialist groups. They did a fantastic job and we were all very proud.
