Michele Hendren Residential Team Leader Pastoral Care —

The Christchurch Campus has had a great start to 2021 with a busy schedule of activities and fun.

Term 1 2021 the Christchurch Residential Campus welcomed a new student Abodi Loulou. Abodi was originally from Syria and our students have been learning about his culture since he joined us. Jayden has been helping Abodi fit in and learn about van Asch house. Abodi loves to make pizza. Steve, our Youth worker has been teaching the students how to make fresh pizza bases.

This term the residential students entered a team in the local Touch Rugby Tournament. All of the students enjoy playing, they grew in confidence and ability with every game. At the end of the season, the Most Improved Players were Jayden Edwards and Libby Francis. Jayden also won the Sportsmanship Award.
