MasterChef by Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education NZ
At our Wellington Outreach Keep in Touch (KIT) Day, students took part in activities that were part MasterChef, part Science and all fun!
We started the day with various games and moved on to some food science experiments in small groups. Our older students were great at helping the younger students with tasks and learning. After the science experiments, we decorated biscuits and played sign games with our NZSL Tutor. After that, we were all involved in a Mystery Recipe challenge. There were codes, clues and a mysterious unnamed ingredient in a jar inside a paper bag. The recipe had no title, so nobody knew what we would end up with!
It was a great day for all of us.
