We are the Enrolled School Leadership Team

In 2021 the Enrolled School Leadership Team included six members.

• Kaori Kobayashi, Assistant Head of Enrolled School, West Auckland
• Daniel Greenwood, Assistant Head of Enrolled School, South Auckland
• Karen Pasco, Assistant Head of Enrolled School, Christchurch/Wellington
• Sue Brewer, Director's Assistant

Angela Gordon, the Director's Assistant, took maternity leave in the middle of Term 2, and then Sue Brewer joined us.

The Enrolled School Leadership Team meets every Wednesday. We are always very busy discussing and deciding on a number of things. 

The Assistant Heads of Enrolled School visit their Provisions throughout the week to support students and staff and teach in the classrooms. This is because of our philosophy, "Leaders in Provision", which means leaders need to know the real-life in each provision and to build good relationships with students and teachers, and if there are issues, try to solve them quickly.

The Enrolled School Leadership Team not only supports students to concentrate on their work and achieve their goals but also helps to organise events to ensure that all students connect with each other and enjoy their time at school. Our National events were; Meet the Teachers night, Matariki Whanau Event, Arts Showcase, and Prizegivings, and we had a School Hui every Term.

All of these events were fantastic. Thanks to everyone who helped to make these events a success!

The Lockdowns in 2021 were difficult and many events were cancelled; however, we did manage to get through it by keeping in touch with the team, sometimes organising fun zoom classes, and making sure everyone could see each other and feel safe.

Next year we will be a new team and we will be even more united and supportive of everyone at Enrolled School!
