Poipoia te kakano kia puawai - Nurture the seed, and it will grow.
I hope this message finds you well. As we come to the end of term 2, I want to reflect on the importance of growth. In all its forms, growth is at the heart of education. It’s not just about academic progress but also personal and social development. Our young people grow daily - in knowledge, skills, and character. They are learning to question, to analyse, and to create. They are becoming more confident, compassionate, and aware of the world around them.
But growth isn’t always easy. It involves challenges and sometimes even setbacks. Yet, it’s through facing these challenges that we truly grow. As we stretch our abilities and step out of our comfort zones, we discover new strengths and potentials within us.
So, let’s celebrate growth - in our ākonga, staff, and community. Remember that every step forward, no matter how small, is a sign of progress. And let’s continue to support each other in this journey of growth.
Enjoy this newsletter and all the fantastic examples of growth within it.
Ngā mihi
