Our students have been working hard in terms 1 and 2 on a project called TAIP (transdisciplinary, authentic inquiry projects).
In terms 1 and 2, our students have been working hard on a project called TAIP (transdisciplinary, authentic inquiry projects).
In this project, our students created stories about important community issues for a local TED-style Ideas Summit. They talk to community members and collect information to make solid, data-based stories. The goal is to inspire others to help make a difference in our community.
This project shows the value of growth in many ways. Our students grew by learning to research, analyse information, and share their findings.
They understood more about community issues and learned to think critically and with empathy.
Working with teachers and other students on this interdisciplinary project also helped them grow socially and emotionally. They learned to work together, share ideas, and respect different viewpoints, which improved their teamwork and leadership skills.
We are very proud of our student's hard work and dedication. They took on challenges, showed resilience, and demonstrated creativity and commitment. Their growth is evident in their ability to effectively present complex information.
You can view the final presentation here, which shows the efforts and impactful stories our students created. This project is not just about presenting data; it's about the journey of growth our students have taken to become more informed, compassionate, and proactive community members.
