Konini Kid Awards

PB4L Team —

Did you know? Students at Konini School can earn Konini Kid Awards for all sorts of positive behaviour.

This is part of our School-Wide Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) philosophy.  Children can earn Konini Kids (KKs) for all sorts of behaviours like manners, friendliness, being helpful and kind or achieving well during class learning. Our school values are written on the back of each award. They write their name and room number on the back of the award and put it in the special class container.  All the awards get recorded and counted every fortnight and certificates are given at assemblies when children reach milestones like 25 KKs, 50 KKs and so on. This year each team has created new certificates for their year level. The first certificates will go out at our Week 5 assembly.  Look at the photos below.

The counted KKs go into the Whanau Collection columns in the office - Kowhai, Rimu, Matai and Pohutukawa.  At the end of each term, all the awards are counted and one whanau gets a reward block.
