Today the Whanau Leaders organised a fundraising event for Konini's World Vision child Malika from Niger.

We had a successful bake sale with lots of yummy cakes, slices and biscuits.  Thank you to our whanau for your baking.  The leaders also organised simple games like nerf gun shooting, raffles and guess the lollies in the jar.  All the activities were initiated by the children and run collaboratively. It was lots of fun.  Our winners for the raffle were: Kayla Jade Room 21, Silas Archer Room 8 and Anneke Ruiterman Room 23.  Reuben  Ferabend Room 21, guessed the correct weight of the fruit bursts. The winners of the jellybeans were Bella Room 23, Kate Room 23, Loralei Room 15 and Brooke Room 23.  

Marcus Biddle, Rm 9, put together a raffle and worked hard to sell as many tickets as he could.   The winner for this raffle was Panshul from Room 8.

We made $538.60 in total.  Once again, thank you to our whanau and community for supporting this fundraising. It will be sent to Niger.
