Consultation

Thank you for taking the time to complete the consultation survey sent out earlier in the term. We have received more than 110 responses so far. If you haven't shared your views you still have time. We have been given some great suggestions for a new motto as well as lots of support for revising our values.

School Improvements

During the Term 3 break, air conditioning units were installed in every classroom in the school that required one. This means that staff and pupils can work comfortably in their rooms when the temperature and humidity increase. We've been told that the teaching team were excited to arrive back at school after the holidays to find new air conditioning units in their rooms.

As well as air conditioning units, the BoT have ordered 3 new shade structures which are currently being installed. The shade structures will be installed above the junior play ground, sand pit and above the terraced seating behind the music room.  

Over the Christmas holidays additional shade structures will be added next to Te Whare Kanano (seed house) as well as on the concrete space outside Rooms 10 and 11. 

This will provide plenty of additional shaded outdoor spaces for our children to access during summer.
